Makes 12-14 Cake Pops

You will need:

- Ready-made sponge cake (or you can make your own)

- For the buttercream:

     75g butter
     150g icing sugar
     ½ tsp vanilla extract
     1 tbsp milk

To make buttercream, beat the butter and icing sugar together until smooth, then add the milk and vanilla extract.

- To decorate:

    - 200-250g chocolate (melted to dip)

     Example: ‘Wilton’ Chocolate (Candy) Melts.

Candy melts are specially formulated so that they melt easily and will set without any need for tempering.

They are available in milk, dark, white, and coloured varieties and are a great way to get started into the world

     of chocolate moulding).

    - Edible Decorations.

- Lollipop Sticks (Lollipop Sticks)

I like to use the 6" (150mm) long sticks for cakepops.
